Hi,
Could anyone tell me if there are old photos of Bellows Mill, if so would it be possible to have a good copy of such. The reason for this is several generations of the Dyer family were born and bread at the Mill, and it would be nice to include an old photo of the mill. Colin

I have recently become interested in Bellows Mill and have read various articles. In 1624 the house was owned by Thomas Johnson who set up the Lidlington charity and conveyed the house to Trustees.
The family currently occupying the house and running a wedding and self catering business there, can trace their occupation of the house back eight generations.
But my research has shown that the mill was sold in the early 1960s.
Is somebody able to provide a history of the mill and its inhabitants please?

Dear Deborah,
I have quite a lot of information on the Dyer family who ran Bellows Mill for several generations before the Simmons family took over the lease. I am happy to share what I have. I think you can get hold of my email address by contacting the administrator.
