Sorry , wrong Edward.

Found marriage registered Leighton Buzzard March 1846.
Will look for 1841 census.

#1487 Tom n Harry, 22 November 2012, 10:25

Can't find them on any census at the moment.
What children have you found born to Edward & Ann?

#1501 Michael Angell, 23 November 2012, 08:30

Hi Tom n Harry
I believe that John and Ann Snoxell had two son's named Edward one b1799 and died 1805 the other born 1805 death unknown. FamilySearch has a date of birth for Ann of 1800.
Edward and Ann's children I believe to be Catherine(Kate)Snoxell b1848, Ann Snoxell b1851, Jane Snoxell b1863,
and Alfred Snoxell b1857, "my great grandfather" all born Eaton Bray.
hope this is a useful lead
Thank you
Michael

Think the kids were born Totternhoe as they all have a Luton registration.
Eaton Bray was registered under Leighton Buzzard.

#1503 Tom n Harry, 23 November 2012, 09:08

The children you have given me belong to Abel Snoxell and Ann Seabrook.
How did you get back to Edward and Ann Turvey?

#1504 Tom n Harry, 23 November 2012, 09:10

Other children are Hannah, James and George.

#1505 Tom n Harry, 23 November 2012, 10:02

Need to work from Alfred.
Who did he marry and who were his children?

#1508 Michael Angell, 24 November 2012, 00:19

Hi Tom n Harry
Alfred Snoxell married Elizabeth Impey
19 February 1876 at Eaton Bray their children were Walter,(my grandfather)
b1877, James b1878, Frederick b1886 and Harry b1893 all born in Eaton Bray.
My original info on Edward Snoxell was from the old FamilySearch but it only gave his spouse as Ann, no surname, also the 1881 census showed
Alfred and Elizabeth with Walter and James and Alfred's sister Jane
living together in Eaton Bray.
Thanks for pointing out my error with Catherine.

The marriage in 1846 may not be the right one.
On family search there is a marriage for Edward Snoxall to Sarah Janes 24th January 1846 in Edlesborough. I think this is the marriage registered March Leighton Buzzard that we thought was for Ann Turvey.

#1515 Tom n Harry, 28 November 2012, 12:36

Sarah born c1828 Edlesborough and Edward born c1823 Northchurch.
Followed census from 1851 to 1891 and no sign of Alfred.

Think we need to look for another marriage.

#1516 Tom n Harry, 28 November 2012, 12:46

From family search.
Marriage in Edlesborough 3rd January 1846 Ann Turvey to Thomas Coleman Ginger.
Tie's in with Edward and Sarah.

#1517 Tom n Harry, 28 November 2012, 14:10

Whatever I search seems to lead back to Abel Snoxall and Ann Seabrooke born Totternhoe c1817.

I believe

#1537 Lorna White, 14 January 2013, 16:39

I believe Ann Turvey married to Thomas Coleman Ginger in 1846 is the daughter of Ezekiel Turvey born 1797 in Eaton Bray and Marie Cruite born 1801 Apsley Guise.
Ezekiel married Marie Cruite 6 January 1821 Eaton Bray she died in 1840 and is buried at Edlesborough, he then married Rebecca Darby nee King  on 28 December 1842 at Edlesborough,Ezekiel died in 1860 and is buried at Edlesborough Rebecca died in 1894. Ezekiel and Rebecca are my husbands Great Grandparents.  Sorry I have no more details of Ann Turvey
