  • Cllr. Janes to look into the outstanding issues surrounding the re-location of the 30mph speed limit signs in Bower Lane/Harling Road and the improvements to the road/parking in Greenways/Knights Close.

The Parish Council wished to note that year on year, there has generally been a downward trend for reported crime within the area.

Speedwatch

Speedwatch are looking for volunteers to help with the speed checks. If you would like to get involved in trying to slow down traffic in the village and are concerned about road safety please contact Cllr. Mark Tomkins, email [email protected] expressing your interest.

Private Events Within Parish

Due to concerns raised with the PC regarding a Christmas event organised at The Rye (cars parking, people walking in road, safety concerns), the PC wished to remind residents that residents must take into account health & safety issues when organising large events and ensure that the PC are made aware of the event and expected numbers.

Unauthorised Advertising

The PC wished to remind advertisers that the PC will remove any unauthorised advertising within the parish.
