Clerk's golden goodbye

Clerk Edryd Evans had been given a £100 "golden goodbye" after retiring as parish clerk for Eaton Bray. But he would continue as clerk for Kensworth, Studham, Whipsnade and Chalgrave parish councils, and for Houghton Regis Town Council.
