For Reed opener McKechnie scored 50, Greoves 37 and Jackson 37 totalling 236-5 with Holbrook taking 2-25. In reply Hosking scored 47, Norris 69* and Flecknell 50 as The Bray finished 12 runs short. A great effort for the first game of the season.
