CricketA very young Bray Sunday XI travelled to Studham, who batted first after the weather settled and amassed 234 with opening batsmen Welch making 84 and Woof 61.

The Bray toiled hard and good figures were returned of 4-18 for Paul Davies on debut, 2-35 for James Greene and 2-2 for Matt Ringsell on what was probably his first outing as a bowler!

In reply, The Bray innings got off to a solid start, until Peacock fell for 39 to the bowling off Thompson. Dave Hopkins soldiered on after entering in the 9th over and finished with 92 not out, being his highest ever score for The Bray!

Bowler Thorne ripped through the middle and lower order finishing with 6 wickets and ultimately ending Bray's faint hopes of a win as they ended up 186-9 from their allotted 40 overs.
