Village Market

The Parish Council wished to thank the Village Market Group for all their work in putting together and running the Village Markets. To ensure these events can continue, the Village Market Group are on the lookout for additional volunteers to help get involved with the running of the markets. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Clerk.

Watercourse/Mill End Close

The Parish Council met with the Internal Drainage Board [IDB] to discuss next steps. The IDB are in the process of investigating both banks, carrying out exploratory work. Once the Parish Council are in receipt of the IDB report, they will then look in more detail into the proposals/costs.

Litter Pick Day

Due to some residents not able to attend the original litter pick day on the 26thOctober 2019, an additional litter pick was carried out and 20 bags of rubbish collected. The Parish Council wish to thank these volunteers for their hard work and commitment to this important scheme.

Speedwatch

The Parish Council now have a fully trained Speedwatch Group and will be carrying out Speedwatch checks within the parish. The Speedwatch Group are always on the lookout for additional members, if you are interested in getting involved please contact the Parish Clerk.

Parish Allotments

We are still waiting for some payments for renewal of allotment plot tenancies in the parish, if you have not already done so, can you please forward your payments to theParish Clerk to enable your tenancy to be renewed. Failure to forward payments will result in your tenancy being revoked and your plot re-allocated.
